Crochet Academy.

This is an after school and holiday program where we teach young girls the art of crochet, helping them develop valuable skills and unleash their creativity. It is also a warm and supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and express themselves through this beautiful craft.
We envision a safe and welcoming space where teenage girls can learn the art of crochet from experienced instructors. Our curriculum will cover everything from basic stitches to advanced techniques, allowing the girls to develop their skills and creativity. We’ll provide all the necessary materials, including hooks and yarn, to ensure that every girl has the opportunity to participate. Additionally, we’ll organize workshops and projects where the girls can showcase their creations and even sell them to support their own empowerment.
Together, we’ll create a vibrant community of crochet enthusiasts who are not only skilled in the craft but also empowered to pursue their dreams. Let’s crochet our way to success and empower these girls to become confident and talented individuals.

Elimu ni Sasa

“Elimu ni Sasa” is Swahili word for “Education is Now” this is an incredible program that aims to support girls who face financial barriers in accessing education. We understand that not all girls have the means to pay tuition fees, and that shouldn’t hinder their educational journey. Through Elimu ni Sasa, we work tirelessly to identify these girls and connect them with generous sponsors who are passionate about empowering young women through education. By providing financial support, we ensure that these girls have the opportunity to attend school, pursue their dreams, and unlock their full potential.

Pad For Her

The “Pad for Her” Initiative aims to combat period poverty among young women and girls in Kilifi,Kenya. This program provides sanitary pads and menstrual education to underprivileged young women and girls, ensuring they have the necessary resources to manage their menstruation with dignity. By doing so, it helps to reduce absenteeism in schools and promotes better health and hygiene practices.

Sisterhood

This captures the essence of sisterhood and support, as it signifies the bond between mentors and mentees.
This is a platform where experienced women serve as mentors, providing guidance, inspiration, and valuable life skills to young girls helping them navigate various aspects of life and empowering them to reach their full potential together to build a strong network of support and foster personal growth and development.

This program reflects the idea of building a strong sisterhood among girls and women, where they can support and empower each other through mentorship to create a community where girls can thrive, grow, and achieve their goals.
